Last night I went to Shoshanah and Joel's Wedding and I must say that I had a blast. I am so glad that I was able to share this day with her and Joel. Here are some pictures from the night. Hope you all enjoy.

Sushi Night

This weekend my mom came to visit so I wanted to make a special dinner (not the same old thing I always make). So I decided to make Sushi !!! I made a Salmon Rolls and a Spicy Crab Rolls. The dinner was great and my mom loved it. I will be making it again really soon.
Trying to make something new like this has inspired me to try some other receipts ... Soon I will share more of my culinary adventures.

My friends Wedding

I want to start out by saying Congratulations Jill and Dan.
My friend got married June 21st at the Doubletree Tampa, FL. We all had a great time, I hope you all enjoy these pictures from the event.

I am a Mrs....Finally

The day that I had been planning for a long time finally came. I was very happy with the results, I guess you could not ask for a better day. Like any wedding, there were problems that arouse. To list them all would take forever, but the good thing is that they were taken care of.
I did enjoy the food, cake, drinks and the dancing. I had a great time with my guest and I would not change that for anything in the world; I do wish it would of lasted longer.
I was very happy that the Weather Channel was wrong with its predictions for rain on my Wedding day, and Rehearsal Dinner; the skies were clear and I could not ask for better weather.
We work so hard on this and we want everything to work out perfect, but life is not perfect and things will happen.
My best advice to a bride is to take a big breath and just Eat, Dance and Enjoy your big day !!!

I am Addicted

I have an addition and it’s called monograms!! I have been teaching myself how to make them on different software and now I can’t stop. I have made over 10 for my wedding alone (I know I will never need that many).
Here is one that I will be using for my wedding

Two Weeks

My wedding day is two weeks from today!! I have the usual feelings; nervous and excitement. These feelings are perfectly normal (at least I hope); I would think there was something wrong with me if I did not feel that way. But I am also angry, this one I can not explain. I have tried so many things to stop myself from getting angry, but none have worked. Maybe I need a long bubble bath and a glass a wine to try and relax (it does not hurt to try it).
I really hope this will pass soon, because I want to enjoy my wedding day.

I have a ton of ideas that have popped into my head recently. I know I don’t have the time for all these DIY projects, but I feel like I need them.
Some examples of these are:
-A card with a website/email to place at the tables for people to share the pictures they have taken
-A photo booth for the guest to take pictures
- “Here Comes the Bride” sign
-Cocktail hour menu (drinks and Hors d'oeuvre)
-A CD with all of our favorite music.
-Flip Flops for the guest to wear

Let’s hope these DIY urges don’t last long or I find things to occupy my mind!
